BLT Triangle Crisps

If you’re a fan of blt’s, here’s  an appetizer to put you over the edge. You may want to hide a few for yourself, or you won’t get any…they disappear fast!

1 pkg (17.3 oz) Pepperidge Farm Frozen Puff Pastry Sheets (2 sheets)

1 egg

1 tbsp. water

2 green onions sliced

1 tbsp. sun-dried tomatoes, chopped fine

2 cloves garlic, minced

8 slices bacon, fried crispy, then crumbled

1 pinch dried thyme or 1 tbsp. fresh

1 pkg. (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

Thaw pastry sheets at room temperature 30 min. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Mix egg and water.

Make sure bacon is cooked crispy, drained, and crumbled into bits. Dice, chop, and mince onions, tomatoes, and garlic. Mix these together in medium-sized bowl and fold in cream cheese. Mix well.

Unfold pastry on lightly floured surface. Roll each sheet into a 12-inch square and cut each into 16 (3″) squares. Place 1 tbsp. bacon-cheese mixture in center of each square. Brush edges of squares with egg mixture. Fold squares to form triangles. Press edges to seal with tines of a fork. Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet. Brush with egg mixture.

Bake for 20 minutes or until golden. Enjoy!
